Biogas systems

Biogas systems are technology setups that convert organic waste such as food scraps, animal manure, and plant material into renewable energy. This process, called anaerobic digestion, occurs in a sealed container where microorganisms break down the waste without oxygen, producing biogas—mainly methane and carbon dioxide—which can be used for cooking, heating, or generating electricity. The leftover material, called digestate, is nutrient-rich and can be used as fertilizer. Biogas systems help reduce greenhouse gas emissions, manage waste sustainably, and provide a clean energy source, especially in rural or off-grid areas.
