Biodigester
A biodigester is a system that safely decomposes organic waste, such as animal manure or food scraps, using bacteria in an oxygen-free environment. This process produces biogas—mainly methane and carbon dioxide—that can be used for cooking, heating, or electricity, and it also yields nutrient-rich digestate that can be used as fertilizer. Biodigesters help reduce waste, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and provide sustainable energy. They are especially useful in agricultural communities, turning waste into valuable resources while promoting environmental health.
