Binomial Distribution

The binomial distribution describes the probability of having a certain number of successes in a fixed number of independent trials, each with the same chance of success. For example, if you flip a coin 10 times, the binomial distribution tells you the likelihood of getting exactly 6 heads. It is characterized by two factors: the number of trials (n) and the probability of success in each trial (p). This distribution is useful for modeling situations where outcomes are binary—success or failure—and helps predict how often a particular number of successes might occur.
