Bill Moggridge was a pioneering British designer best known for co-creating the first successful laptop computer, the IBM ThinkPad, in the early 1990s. He was also a founding partner of the design firm IDEO and served as the director of the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum.
