He advocated for Black pride, self-awareness, and empowerment, challenging racial segregation and oppression. Biko emphasized the importance of psychological resistance and cultural identity in the fight against unjust apartheid laws. His ideas inspired many in South Africa and worldwide, urging people to recognize their dignity and strength. Tragically, he died in police custody in 1977, becoming a symbol of resistance against racial injustice and apartheid oppression.
