Bikaner State
Bikaner State was a princely state in India, located in the northwestern region of Rajasthan. Established in the 15th century, it was ruled by the Rathore dynasty. Known for its unique culture, architecture, and cuisine, Bikaner served as an important trade hub due to its strategic location on trade routes. The state was notable for its impressive forts, especially the Junagarh Fort, and vibrant bazaars. Bikaner merged into the Indian Union in 1947 after India gained independence, becoming part of the modern state of Rajasthan while retaining its cultural heritage.
