Bhanubhakta Acharya was a renowned Nepali poet and writer, celebrated for translating the ancient Indian epic Ramayana into Nepali language, making it accessible to many Nepali speakers. Born in 1814, he is often called the "Adikavi" (the first poet) of Nepali literature. His work helped develop and elevate Nepali language and literature, blending spiritual themes with cultural values. Acharya’s contributions laid the foundation for modern Nepali poetry and storytelling, inspiring generations and promoting national pride through his literary and cultural achievements.
