Berkeleyan Idealism
Berkeleyan Idealism is a philosophy that suggests that the material world does not exist independently of our perceptions. Instead, reality consists of minds and their ideas; objects exist because they are perceived by awareness. Berkeley argued that things like trees or chairs only exist because they are being observed or are part of an interconnected system of perceptions, ultimately held in the mind of God. This view emphasizes that perception and consciousness are fundamental to existence, challenging the idea that matter exists independently outside of perception.
