Benelux
Benelux is a political and economic union comprising three neighboring countries in Western Europe: Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The name "Benelux" combines the first letters of each country. Established in 1948, its purpose was to promote economic cooperation, facilitate trade, and foster regional stability. Over time, it has evolved to include broader collaborations on issues like transportation, security, and environment. While each country maintains its own government and policies, Benelux helps coordinate efforts and strengthen economic ties, serving as a model of regional integration and cooperation in Europe.
