Benediction
Benediction is a religious ritual or prayer in which a priest, minister, or spiritual leader offers a blessing or divine protection to individuals or a congregation. It usually occurs at the end of a service and involves invoking God's grace, peace, and favor. The purpose is to send those present forth with a sense of spiritual well-being and divine favor. Benedictions are common in Christian worship, but similar blessings appear in other faith traditions. They serve as a formal way to conclude communal worship and invoke divine comfort and guidance.
