Johnny Bench is a former professional baseball player, widely regarded as one of the greatest catchers in the history of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played for the Cincinnati Reds from 1967 to 1983 and was known for his exceptional defensive skills, powerful hitting, and leadership on the field. Bench was a key member of the "Big Red Machine," helping lead the team to two World Series championships. He was a 14-time All-Star and won the National League MVP award twice.
