Ben Linder

Ben Linder was an American engineer and aid worker who volunteered in Nicaragua during the 1980s, helping to build water systems, schools, and electrical projects to support local communities. His work took place amid the country's civil conflict, and he believed in supporting people’s development goals. Tragically, he was killed in 1987 by armed fighters. Linder's efforts are remembered as a symbol of international solidarity and the impact of dedicated individuals striving to improve living conditions in challenging environments.
