Belmont Stakes
The Belmont Stakes is one of the three prestigious races that make up the American Triple Crown of horse racing, held annually in New York. It features three-year-old thoroughbred horses competing over a 1.5-mile (12 furlongs) dirt track. Known as the "Test of the Champion," it often determines the year's top horse and can crown a triple crown winner if the same horse wins all three major races (Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont). The Belmont is celebrated for its length and history, showcasing endurance and racing excellence.
