Bell Beaker

The Bell Beaker culture was a widespread ancient European society that existed around 2800–1800 BCE. They are named after their distinctive bell-shaped pottery vessels. This culture is known for pioneering new metalworking techniques, including early copper and bronze use, and for spreading across much of Western and Central Europe. They engaged in long-distance trade, built megalithic monuments, and possibly had early social or religious practices. The Bell Beaker culture played a key role in shaping the development of European societies during the late Neolithic and early Bronze Age periods.
