Belize Army

The Belize Army, officially known as the Belize Defence Force (BDF), is the military organization of Belize, Central America. Established in 1978, its primary role is to ensure the defense of Belizean sovereignty and assist in maintaining internal security. The BDF conducts operations including counter-narcotics, disaster relief, and humanitarian missions. Comprising a small active-duty force, it also includes reserves and operates alongside other security agencies. The Army focuses on training, discipline, and collaboration with international partners to enhance regional security and peacekeeping efforts.
