Belarusian Helsinki Committee
The Belarusian Helsinki Committee is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights in Belarus. Inspired by the European Helsinki Committees, it monitors issues such as freedom of speech, fair trials, and political freedoms, and advocates for the rights of individuals facing repression. The committee also provides legal support, documents human rights violations, and works to raise awareness both nationally and internationally. Its goal is to ensure Belarus respects its citizens' fundamental rights and to foster a democratic, open society through advocacy and oversight.
