Behavior Adjustment Training

Behavior Adjustment Training (BAT) is a gentle, effective method used to help dogs overcome problematic behaviors, like excessive barking or lunging. It works by gradually exposing the dog to its triggers in controlled situations, encouraging calm responses. When the dog shows signs of stress, the trainer or owner rewards calm behavior and encourages safe exploration away from the trigger. Over time, this process helps the dog learn to manage its reactions and build confidence. BAT promotes positive interactions and self-control, fostering a more relaxed and balanced dog without harsh punishments.
