Beatified individuals

Beatified individuals are people who have been formally recognized by the Catholic Church as having lived lives of notable virtue and are now honored with the title “Blessed.” This is a step in the process of canonization, or sainthood. Beatification typically follows after a miracle associated with the individual is confirmed, demonstrating their holiness and intercessory power. Once beatified, they may be venerated locally or within specific communities. The final step toward sainthood is canonization, which involves further verification of miracles and public recognition of the person's exemplary holiness.
