BDI architecture
BDI architecture stands for Belief-Desire-Intention, a model used in artificial intelligence to mimic human decision-making. It involves three components: beliefs (what the system perceives about its environment), desires (its objectives or goals), and intentions (the plans it commits to in pursuit of those goals). The system continuously updates its beliefs based on new information, evaluates its desires, and chooses intentions that best achieve its objectives. This approach helps create agents that can reason, plan, and act in complex environments in a way that appears motivated and goal-directed, similar to human problem-solving.
