Bayesian Theory

Bayesian theory is a way of updating our beliefs based on new evidence. It starts with an initial idea or estimate (called a prior). When we get new data or observations, we revise this belief by considering how likely the new evidence is if our initial idea were true. This process results in a refined belief (called a posterior). Essentially, Bayesian theory provides a formal method for learning from evidence, allowing us to improve our understanding as more information becomes available, all grounded in probability.
