Battlecruiser
A battlecruiser is a large, fast warship that combines the firepower of a battleship with greater speed and maneuverability. It has big guns and heavy armor like a battleship but is designed to move quickly across the ocean, often to scout or chase down enemies. Historically, battlecruisers emerged in the early 20th century to perform roles that required both strong offensive capability and swift movement. While their size and firepower made them formidable, their lighter armor compared to battleships meant they were more vulnerable in direct engagements.
