
Battle of Rorke's Drift
The Battle of Rorke's Drift took place in 1879 during the Anglo-Zulu War in South Africa. A small British force, about 150 soldiers, defended a rugged hilltop outpost against a large Zulu army of thousands. Despite being heavily outnumbered, the defenders held their position through strategic defense and resilience, preventing the Zulu attack from succeeding.
