Battle of Nördlingen

The Battle of Nördlingen took place in 1634 during the Thirty Years' War, a conflict mainly in Europe over religious and political tensions. The Catholic Habsburg forces, allied with Spain, fought against the Protestant Swedish and German armies. The battle ended decisively in favor of the Catholics, leading to a significant shift in the war, as it regained control of southern Germany for the Catholic side.
