Battle of Hulao

The Battle of Hulao was a significant 621 CE conflict during China's Tang Dynasty, where the Tang army, allied with local troops, fought against a coalition led by powerful warlords, the Eastern Turkic Khaganate and various regional warlords. The battle took place at the Hulao Pass and resulted in a decisive victory for the Tang forces. This victory solidified the Tang Dynasty’s dominance, allowing them to control central China and expand their influence. It marked a turning point, enabling the Tang to unify much of China under their rule and establish a stable imperial state.
