
Battle of Chamkaur
The Battle of Chamkaur took place in 1704 between the Khalsa army, led by Guru Gobind Singh, and the Mughal and Hill Rajas forces. Guru Gobind Singh and his followers defended their fort against a much larger army seeking to suppress their spiritual and political movement. Despite being greatly outnumbered, they fought bravely, demonstrating courage and resilience. The battle is remembered for the bravery of the Guru and his followers, many of whom sacrificed their lives to protect their beliefs.
