Battle of Chalons

The Battle of Chalons, fought in 451 AD, was a significant conflict during the decline of the Roman Empire. It pitted the Romans, led by General Aetius, and their Visigoth allies against the Huns, commanded by Attila. Taking place in what is now France, the battle was crucial in halting Attila's advance into Western Europe. Although both sides suffered heavy losses, the Romans and their allies emerged victorious, significantly weakening the Hunnic threat.
