Battle of Cedynia

The Battle of Cedynia, fought in 972, was a key conflict between Poland, led by Mieszko I, and the Holy Roman Empire, led by margrave Hodo. It occurred near Cedynia (present-day Poland) and resulted in a Polish victory. This battle helped Mieszko I defend his territory and establish Poland as a recognized nation.
