Battery Management Systems

A Battery Management System (BMS) is a device that monitors and maintains the health of a battery, ensuring it operates safely and efficiently. It tracks important parameters like voltage, temperature, and current, preventing overcharging, deep discharging, or overheating that could damage the battery or reduce its lifespan. The BMS also balances individual cells within the battery pack, ensuring uniform performance. Essentially, it acts as the battery's guardian and controller, optimizing performance, safety, and longevity, whether in electric vehicles, renewable energy storage, or portable electronics.
