Batasuna
Batasuna was a political party in Spain that supported Basque independence from Spain and opposed Spanish government policies in the Basque Country. It was linked to the broader Basque nationalist movement and had connections to the armed group ETA, which used violence for political goals. Due to its associations with ETA and its stance on independence, Batasuna was often considered controversial and was banned multiple times by Spanish courts for promoting terrorism. Despite this, the party continued to represent Basque nationalist views through legal political channels until its decline and eventual disbandment.
