
Bartholomew I of Constantinople
Bartholomew I is the spiritual leader of the Eastern Orthodox Church, serving as the Archbishop of Constantinople (modern-day Istanbul). Since 1991, he has been responsible for guiding approximately 300 million Orthodox Christians worldwide, promoting faith, unity, and social justice. His role includes overseeing church doctrines, fostering interfaith dialogue, and representing the church in global issues.
