Bartók Archives

The Bartók Archives is a specialized research center dedicated to studying and preserving the work of Hungarian composer and folklorist Béla Bartók. Located at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, it houses an extensive collection of his manuscripts, recordings, and research materials. The archive supports scholarly work, musicology, and performances by providing access to Bartók’s original compositions, field recordings of folk music, and related documents.
