Barany Society

The Barany Society is an international professional organization dedicated to the study and understanding of the vestibular system—the part of the inner ear and brain responsible for balance and spatial orientation. It brings together clinicians, researchers, and scientists to share knowledge, develop standardized diagnostic and treatment methods, and advance research related to dizziness, vertigo, and balance disorders. Named after the Hungarian neurologist Robert Bárány, the society fosters collaboration to improve patient care and scientific understanding of vertigo and related conditions.
