Bara Imambara

Bara Imambara is a historic complex in Lucknow, India, built in 1784 by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. It includes an elaborately designed central hall, grand arches, and intricately decorated corridors, serving primarily as a mosque and a community gathering space. The name "Bara Imambara" means "Large Imambara," referring to its significant size. Notably, it features the Bhool Bhulaiyaa, a labyrinth of interconnected passages and rooms.
