Bantu

The Bantu are a group of over 500 ethnic groups in Africa sharing similar languages called Bantu languages, part of the larger Niger-Congo language family. Originally originating from West-Central Africa around 3000-2000 BCE, they migrated across much of sub-Saharan Africa, spreading agriculture, ironworking, and cultural practices. Today, Bantu peoples inhabit a vast region from Central Africa to Southern Africa, making them one of the continent's most widespread and influential cultural and linguistic groups. Their migration significantly shaped the demographics, societies, and histories of many African nations.
