Banquo
Banquo is a character from William Shakespeare's play "Macbeth." He is a noble and honorable Scottish general, a friend and trusted ally of Macbeth. Prophecies from witches predict that Banquo's descendants will become kings, not Banquo himself. Though loyal and courageous, Banquo becomes suspicious of Macbeth's ambitions, especially after Macbeth murders King Duncan to seize the throne. Banquo's integrity and moral strength contrast with Macbeth’s growing paranoia and evil actions. In essence, Banquo represents righteousness and the moral dilemma faced by individuals when confronting ambition and corruption.
