Bandpass filters
A bandpass filter is a device or tool that allows signals within a specific range of frequencies to pass through while blocking signals that are lower or higher than that range. Think of it like a sieve that only lets certain-sized particles through; in this case, it only lets signals of a certain “pitch” or frequency pass. This is useful in audio, radio, and communication systems to isolate or enhance desired signals, reducing noise and interference from outside frequencies. Essentially, a bandpass filter helps focus on the most relevant parts of a signal spectrum.
