The Bali Bombings refer to a series of terrorist attacks that occurred on October 12, 2002, in Bali, Indonesia. The most deadly attack took place in the nightlife district of Kuta, where a bomb exploded in a crowded bar, followed by a second blast nearby. The attacks, carried out by the militant group Jemaah Islamiyah, killed 202 people, including many foreign tourists, and injured hundreds more.
