Bal Shastri Jambhekar

Bal Shastri Jambhekar (1839–1890) was a prominent Indian historian, writer, and social reformer who played a key role in promoting education and journalism in Marathi and English during the 19th century. Known as the "Father of Marathi Journalism," he founded several influential newspapers and worked to modernize Indian historical studies, emphasizing accurate research and documentation.
