Bakhtiari
Bakhtiari is an ethnic group primarily located in Iran, known for their rich cultural heritage and semi-nomadic lifestyle. They are part of the larger Lur people and speak the Bakhtiari dialect of the Luri language. Traditionally, Bakhtiaris engage in pastoralism, moving seasons between mountains and plains for grazing. They are renowned for their distinctive clothing, music, and strong tribal social structure. Historically, they have played significant roles in Iran’s history, especially in rural areas. Today, many Bakhtiaris continue these traditions while also participating in modern Iranian society.
