Baird's Transmission System

Baird’s Transmission System was an early method for transmitting television signals wirelessly, developed by John Logie Baird in the 1920s. It involved converting visual images into radio waves, transmitting them through the air, and then converting those waves back into images on a screen. Essentially, it was a pioneering way to send moving pictures without wires, laying the groundwork for modern television broadcasting. The system used radio frequencies to carry the picture data, allowing for wireless transmission over short to medium distances. While it was a groundbreaking concept at the time, it was eventually replaced by more advanced broadcasting technologies.
