Baiga language

Baiga is an indigenous language spoken by the Baiga people primarily in central India, including parts of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. It belongs to the Austroasiatic language family, which also includes languages like Mundari and Santhali. Baiga has its own unique sounds and grammar, reflecting the culture and traditions of its speakers. While many Baiga people also use regional languages like Hindi, Baiga remains an important part of their cultural identity and oral heritage. Efforts are being made to preserve and document the language as it faces challenges from modernization and language shift.
