Bahá'í Calendar
The Bahá'í Calendar, also called the Badí‘ calendar, is a solar calendar consisting of 19 months of 19 days each, totaling 361 days, with several intercalary days (called Ayyám-i-Há) added to align with the solar year of approximately 365.24 days. The year begins at the vernal equinox around March 21. This calendar emphasizes spiritual renewal and cyclical seasons, with each month named after an attribute of God. Its structure fosters community, spiritual reflection, and precise timekeeping aligned with natural phenomena, serving as a unifying framework for Bahá'ís worldwide.
