
Bada Imambara
Bada Imambara is a historic monument in Lucknow, India, built in 1784 by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. It serves as a religious and cultural center, primarily for Shia Muslims during the annual Muharram procession. The complex includes an impressive imambargah (Shia congregation hall), a labyrinth called Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and a mosque. The structure is renowned for its grand architecture, intricate design, and engineering marvels, such as a large vaulted hall that does not require supporting pillars.
