Back-to-Sleep Campaign

The Back-to-Sleep Campaign is an initiative launched to reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS). It encourages parents and caregivers to place infants on their backs to sleep, rather than on their stomachs or sides. Research shows that infants sleeping on their backs are much less likely to die suddenly and unexpectedly. The campaign also promotes safe sleep environments, such as a firm mattress and avoiding loose bedding. Its goal is to create awareness and establish safe sleep practices to protect infants during their most vulnerable months.
