BaBar Collaboration

The BaBar Collaboration was an international group of scientists working together at the SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory to study fundamental particles known as B mesons. Their goal was to understand matter-antimatter asymmetry—why the universe has more matter than antimatter—by examining how B mesons decay and behave. Using a specialized detector, they collected and analyzed data from high-energy collisions, contributing key insights to particle physics and testing the Standard Model's predictions about the universe's fundamental forces.
