"Büttner's Law"

Büttner's Law describes a pattern observed in urban economics: as a city grows, the cost of land and property tends to increase at an accelerating rate, especially near the city center. This means that the farther you go from the core of a city, the cheaper land becomes, but the difference in costs between the center and outskirts widens as the city expands. Essentially, it highlights how urban expansion leads to increasing land value disparities, influencing city planning, real estate prices, and how people and businesses choose locations within a city.
