B Theory of Time

The B Theory of Time suggests that past, present, and future events are equally real and exist simultaneously, much like options on a menu. According to this view, time is like a block book where all pages—events—are fixed in place, and the distinction between past, present, and future is more about our perception than reality. This contrasts with the idea that only the present is real and that the future is open. In essence, B Theory sees time as a static landscape where all moments coexist, and our experience of change is a result of our perspective.
