AVFM

AVFM, or Avascular Femoral Neck, refers to a condition where blood flow to the femoral neck (the part of the thigh bone near the hip) is reduced or cut off. This deprivation can cause the bone tissue to weaken and potentially collapse, leading to pain and mobility issues. It often results from factors like trauma, steroid use, or certain medical conditions. Early diagnosis and treatment are important to prevent joint damage.
