Autonomous zones

Autonomous zones are areas where groups assert independence from existing government authority, often to promote social or political ideals. They are intentionally set up as self-governing spaces, operating with their own rules and systems, sometimes temporarily during protests or conflicts. These zones aim to create alternative jurisdictions to challenge or highlight issues with traditional governance, emphasizing community control and resistance.
