automotive radar

Automotive radar is a technology that helps vehicles detect objects around them, such as other cars, pedestrians, or obstacles, by using radio waves. The radar system emits radio signals that bounce off objects and return to the sensor. By measuring the time it takes for the signals to return and analyzing their frequency shifts, the system determines the distance, speed, and position of nearby objects. This information is used in driver-assist features like adaptive cruise control and collision avoidance, improving safety by providing real-time awareness of the vehicle's surroundings, even in poor visibility conditions.
